Tucson is just a hop skip and a jump away from Phoenix but it is amazing how the desert down there looks so different to me. Somehow it seems more “deserty” to me. Well Sarah and Ian’s wedding had that true authentic Arizona feel with the Tucson desert as the backdrop for their vows. They wed on a beautiful spring day surrounded by the ones they love the most. I appreciated some of the traditional details from their wedding like the groom wearing a bow tie and the sipping of scotch with his groomsmen and smoking stoagies. My favorite part of their wedding has to be the looks on their faces throughout the day. It was a look of pure joy, happiness and marital bliss. These two are off to a great start and we couldn’t be happier for them! Enjoy their Wedding Movie Trailer.

I am completely copying Kelly Gill’s post from Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine because she laid out this big news perfectly. Plus it is the end of wedding season and my brain is mush. I can barely form 2 sentences at this point so I am just going to let Kelly do the talking. Thanks Kelly for a great post!!!

For the very first time ever, Major League Baseball is getting in on the wedding game in a big way! They are holding a contest where the prize is a ceremony and reception at the All-Star FanFest at the Phoenix Convention Center on Tuesday, July 12. Couples submit their stories (in video format) online by June 1 and the winning couple will be chosen by All-Star Ambassador (and the D-Back’s favorite former player) Luis Gonzalez, Celebrity Wedding Planner David Tutera and Jenni Croft Badolato from ABC’s “The Bachelor”.

You are never going to believe the amazing line-up of wedding vendors that are donating their services to the wedding! Wedding Coordination by Charlee Geisler of Signature Events- a veritable wedding rockstar here in the valley- along with:

They are also giving away some fantastic loot: a catered reception for 50 guests by Aventura Catering, a wedding ring package from Molina Fine Jewelers, a wedding dress by Uptown Bridal, roundtrip airfare and tickets to the 82nd MLB All-Star Game. The lucky couple will also receive items from Major League Baseball partners including a $500 MasterCard gift card, beverages for the reception provided by Anheuser-Busch, hotel stay provided by InterContinental Hotels Group, and a $500 Newlywed Lawn & Garden Kit donated by Scotts featuring a wide array of Scotts Miracle-Gro products.

So if you are a baseball fan and your dream is a wedding on the baseball field enter the contest!!!!

Springy, fresh and fun at The Sanctuary Camelback Mountain. Lauren and Tim are just delightful. Their energy as a couple matched their bright and exuberant color scheme. They were ecstatic about getting married and excited to share this moment with those that they loved the most. They had their Ceremony on the perfectly manicured Sanctuary lawn with the beautiful Camelback Mountain as the backdrop. Then they made their way to The Views ballroom to celebrate. They danced, partied, laughed and loved. It was a night they will remember forever. Here is a glimpse of things to come with their Wedding Movie

Lovefest. Evangeline and Anthony’s wedding was a total lovefest. The couple is in love. The family was in love with the fact that they are in love. Their friends all love each other. We loved shooting their wedding!!! See total lovefest!! After lovefest comes dancefest!! Evangeline and Anthony had a choreographed first dance which was awesome then throughout the evening their friends and family kept busting out into choreographed dances. It was like a flashmob or an audition for America’s Best Dance Crew. Either way the night was full of energy and celebration. It was our honor to document this most momentous day for Evangeline and Anthony. Stay tuned for more love and dancing with their completed wedding film. This is just a taste of things to come.

Fashionista does not even begin to describe our bride Andrea. She is on the cutting edge of all things couture and what the latest and greatest fashion trends are. She owns a showroom in Los Angeles that boutique owners come to to purchase clothing for their boutiques. So it was an absolute must for her to have a wedding gown that was one of the kind and spectacular. So she got on the phone with a designer and 2 hours later had a sketch of “the gown”. Then there were the shoes…. These blue beauties have quite a story behind them… There is only one other person in the world, yes the world who has them and it’s Sarah Jessica Parker. Andrea saw these heels in a magazine, fell in love with them and Andrea’s scrappy sister in-law got on the phone with the designer and got him to make this one of a kind heels into two of a kind. The groom looked magnificent as well. He was decked out in a bow tie and black sneakers with silver spikes all over them. This beautiful couple literally looked like they stepped out of the pages of a couture bridal magazine. Now onto the Reception… The night was a party like I have rarely seen and I have seen ALOT of weddings. This couple and their HUGE bridal party and 150 friends danced, partied and celebrated like no other. Then half way through the evening when the bride was ready to really let her hair down she cascaded down the stairs in a sassy cocktail version of her wedding dress. It was all so chic, unique and stunning. Congratulations to Andrea and David. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your most important day.
