Serendipity Cinematography

This past Saturday night Serendipity did it’s first official Same Day Edit. It was at the fabulous Sanctuary Resort and the wedding was planned and executed by Victoria Canada Weddings and Events and it was flawless. The couple Allie and Kyle couldn’t have been a more perfect couple to do this with. They were so chill and fun to work with. So what is a Same Day Edit you ask???? It is the new photo montage….. It’s a Wedding Movie Trailer on steroids… And it’s a total show piece at your event. If you are looking for the WOW factor this is it!!!! It is where we actually shoot, edit and air a Highlight Film at your wedding reception!! It takes a lot of planning and execution on our part but it is AWESOME and sooooo much fun to shoot!!!!!

The holiday season is in full swing. Allow me to interrupt you for a moment from your holiday shopping and the snacking on delectable holiday treats to share with you Neal and Pooja’s Same Day Edit. What is a Same Day Edit you ask? It is where we shoot footage from your event and in this case 2 days of events before the actual wedding and edit it all together to be played at the Wedding Reception. Pretty fancy right? Neal and Pooja started their 3 day wedding with the Henna Party on Thanksgiving night then on Friday they had their Sangeet. We had a team of Cinematographers covering both of these events. Then on Saturday morning was their official wedding ceremony. We shot that and raced back to the studio to begin editing a film to be shown as they made their Grand Entrance that evening at their reception. If you are looking to really WOW your guests and re-cap the day that evening then the Same Day Edit is for you!!
